F.A.Q.

1. When does lawn mowing begin?
Lawn Mowing starts during the third or fourth week of April.

2. May I prepay for the season?
Yes, but we prefer a monthly billing cycle.

3. Do you cut the same day every week?
You will be scheduled for the same day every week. Due to weather we may not always make it out the same day. If it rains a day before your cut date we have to make up the previous day's work and then move on to your cut date.

4. When do I pay the bill?
SL&M bills our customers monthly for lawn mowing. You will receive your bill on the 1st of each month. Payment is due by the 10th of each month. For all other services, payment is appreciated after service is completed. Make checks payable to: Syracuse Lawn & Maintenance.

5. May I pay the workers while they are working?
Please do not pay the workers your monthly bill; however, they do enjoy the occasional tip!


6. Do you pick up branches, garbage, etc…as you cut?

Yes, our workers will pick up branches and garbage as they cut. Customers must pick up dog excretions the day before scheduled work is performed or incur an additional $5.00 per cut fee.

7. Do you offer bagging of grass clippings? How much does it cost?
Yes, SL&M includes bagging and hauling clippings in your lawn care bill.

8. Do you edge the sidewalks and driveways? How much does it cost?
Yes, SL&M edges the sidewalks and driveways for a nominal fee. Service must be prescheduled.

9. Do you pick up the leaves in the autumn?
SL&M will pick up leaves while mowing. SL&M only mows till October 31st. SL&M can continue a weekly mow service for an additional fee till the end of November or a Fall clean up can be scheduled.

10. When does lawn mowing end?
Lawn Mowing ends the last week of October
